ABOUT ME




Hello, I’m Marisa and I am passionate about the healing benefits of yoga. I work with people to support them with their health and wellness goals. I have been teaching since 2005, I’m a member of the Yoga Alliance (YA), certified E-RYT 500, YACEP, and the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT). I’m a graduate of the YTRx Program at Loyola Marymount University, under the direction of Larry Payne, the first university based yoga therapy program in the U.S.. My studies also include psychology, traditional yoga in the lineage of Krishnamacharya and his son T.K.V. Desikachar, the Forrest Yoga Teacher Training (certified Level 2) with Ana Forrest, a pioneer of yoga and emotional healing, and the 800 hour Moksha Yoga Teacher Training.
